We are so excited!
We won 1st Place and Popular Vote in a framing competition held in Traverse City, Mi this weekend!!!!!!!!
The competition theme was " Home Is Where Your Heart Is".
We were to frame something that showed what is great about
our town or community. So, we combined our love of U.P. history and one
of things Marquette (as well as the rest of the Upper Peninsula) was
built on... timber. **This photo titled "World's Fair Load of Logs -
Largest Load of Logs Ever Pulled by Two Horses, circa 1893" was
thoughtfully chosen from our Superior View Historic Photo Collection.
We will have the framing back in our possession May 15th, so stop on in and see it first hand!
