You are invited to our Grand Re-Opening!!!
In celebration of the newest addition to our frame shop we are hosting a grand re-opening this coming Friday, May 10, 9:30am - 5:30pm.... There will be a prize drawing and appetizers!
You are invited to visit our shop and see all of the historic photography from the Superior View collection.
Art of Framing is proud to announce they are carrying on the legacy of Superior View’s Historic Photograph collection. After a month long store remodel, Art of Framing installed the entire selection of historic photographs depicting life in the Upper Peninsula and beyond.
When we heard Jack Deo wanted to retire, we approached him with the idea that we would carry just a few of his best sellers. The more we talked about it, the more we wanted to take the whole collection. Our love of history and Marquette, combined with Custom Picture Framing makes this collaboration a perfect fit.
The change has brought an influx of picture framing orders, particularily antique and vintage collectables, including family photos and local historic relics. Special care is taken with each and every framing order. Conservation quality framing is used in every situation and all items are kept in their original form. Each piece is professionally and carefully handled by owners Stacie and Tom DuWaldt. If you are in a rush, they feature one hour custom picture framing.
Art of Framing has been in the same location for almost 30 years and the owners have been framing for a combined total of 33 years. The friendly and casual atmosphere, matched with unparalled expertise and creativity makes this frame shop the only place you’ll want to entrust your artwork with.
Art of Framing also features original artwork and unique Birch Bark covered light switch plates made by Stacie. To see some fine examples of framing ideas, check them out on Facebook: Art of Framing of Marquette. You can visit their storefront at 149 West Washington Street, Downtown Marquette. 906-228-7719.
